Greg Distler

Greg Distler has a strong background in risk management and trading. Greg began their career as an Actuarial Intern at Great American Financial Resources in 2005. Greg then served as a Graduate Assistant at Miami University from 2006 to 2008. In 2008, Greg joined Group One Trading, LP as an Associate Trader and later became a Risk Analyst. Greg gained further experience in risk and trading at Nico Holdings LLC from 2010 to 2014. In 2014, they returned to Group One Trading, LP as the Director of Risk.

Greg Distler earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mathematics and Statistics from Miami University, where they attended from 2002 to 2006. Greg then pursued further education and obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Mathematics from Miami University, studying from 2006 to 2008. In addition to their formal education, Greg has obtained several certifications in various subjects. Some of the certifications include "Developing Cloud Native Applications," "Introduction to Cloud Development with HTML, CSS, JavaScript," "Deep Learning with Tensorflow," "Deep Neural Networks with PyTorch," "Introduction to Cloud Computing," "Deep Learning Essentials with Keras," "Machine Learning with Apache Spark," "Machine Learning with Python," "Regression Models," "Statistical Inference," "Reproducible Research," "Series 24," "Exploratory Data Analysis," "Getting and Cleaning Data," "R Programming," and "The Data Scientist's Toolbox." These certifications were obtained from institutions such as Coursera and FINRA, with completion dates ranging from 2014 to 2021.
