Andrey Druzhkin

Andrey Druzhkin has a diverse background in software engineering and underwriting. Andrey is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at GroupBy Inc. since June 2022. Prior to that, they were a Software Engineer at Synctera from January 2022 to May 2022.

Andrey also has experience in the banking and insurance industry. Andrey worked at ATB Financial from June 2021 to January 2022 as an API Software Developer III and from October 2017 to June 2021 as an ECM Software Developer II. Before ATB Financial, they worked at The Co-operators from February 2015 to October 2017 as a Commercial Underwriter II, from July 2013 to February 2015 as a Farm Underwriter II, and from June 2012 to July 2013 as a Farm Underwriter I.

Before transitioning to software engineering and underwriting, Andrey worked at Zurich Insurance as an Underwriter from August 2008 to January 2011, and at Citibank as a Credit Risk Analyst from June 2006 to December 2007.

Andrey Druzhkin has a Bachelor's degree in Economics, which was earned from the Military University between 1997 and 2002. In 2012, they pursued further education at the Insurance Institute of Canada and obtained the CIP Designation by 2016. In addition to their degrees, they have also obtained the Oracle Certified Associate, Java SE 8 Programmer certification from Oracle in April 2017.
