Groupe BPCE is a financial holding company that was created in 2009. It is the second largest banking group in France with over 31 million customers. The group is made up of two major banking federations: Caisse Nationale des Caisses d'Epargne (CNCE) and Groupe Banque Populaire (GBP). The group's board of directors is made up of representatives from both CNCE and GBP.
