Dominique Giguère, doctor in andragogy, is co-president of Currents Group, a firm specializing in organizational development for non-profit organizations (OSBL). An expert advisor in governance, performance, learning and culture, she offers her services in various sectors of activity and in organizations working at the local, regional or international level. Her clients include global humanitarian organizations like Doctors Without Borders and the UN, national indigenous theater companies and local voluntary organizations dedicated to environmental causes.
Since 1999, Ms. Giguère has contributed to the development of online learning tools in several sectors of activity, thanks to a strategic approach, efficient use of resources, and the creation of partnerships. She was one of the first technopedagogues hired by TVOntario to support the introduction of new learning technologies at the post-secondary level.
Beyond her experience at TVO, Ms. Giguère has acquired several years of senior management experience in the Ontario public sector through senior positions at Seneca College and the provincial agency WSIB. She has also served as deputy mayor of Malahide Township in southwestern Ontario since 2018.
