Louis-Marie ROUXEL is an accomplished technical manager with extensive experience in the maritime industry. Currently serving as the Technical Director at SOGESTRAN Group since June 2019, Louis-Marie oversees a technical department comprised of 18 engineers and project managers. Previously, Louis-Marie held the role of Project Manager, focusing on newbuild and retrofit projects. Prior to this, work at Damen from April 2015 to June 2019 as Projects Manager involved organizing and managing projects while ensuring compliance with safety, budget, deadline, and quality standards. Earlier career experience at BOURBON OFFSHORE SURF spanned from 2005 to March 2015, with roles ranging from Second Captain to Mate and Engine Officer on various supply vessels. Louis-Marie holds a Master Degree in Merchant Navy from Ecole Nationale de la Marine Marchande.
