Karen Crane has a long and varied work experience in the travel and events industry. Karen began their career in 1993 as a Travel Counselor at Thomas Cook Travel. Karen then moved to Destinations Unlimited Travel in 1995 as a Meeting Planner/Travel Counselor. In 1997, they joined American Express Global Business Travel as a Corporate Travel Consultant. Karen then moved to Le Pli Spa in 2002 as an Esthetician. In 2003, they became an Esthetics instructor at Blaine Beauty Career School, and in 2004 they joined Bella Santé Spas as an Esthetician. In 2008, they returned to American Express Global Business Travel as a Team Leader and Corporate Specialized Travel Counselor/Group Travel. In 2013, they joined Travel and Transport, Inc. as an Events Account Specialist, managing and successfully implementing new business and providing a seamless transition for new clients to the Events department, supervising the Meetings Technology Specialist team, and employee engagement and training. In 2021, they moved to Event Travel Management NA as a Sales Support Manager, and in 2022 they joined Groupize as an Account Manager, Customer Success.

Karen Crane has an education history that includes completing an Associate's Degree in Travel and Hospitality Services Management from the University of Phoenix in 2012. Karen also holds a Spa Sciences Certificate from Blaine Beauty Career School in 2002, and has studied Tourism and Travel Services Management at Newbury College. Additionally, they are a Licensed Esthetician and Esthetics Instructor, certified by the State of Massachusetts.
