Janice Brown

Janice Brown is a Registered Respiratory Therapist with extensive experience in various healthcare settings. Currently employed at Groves Memorial Community Hospital since February 2023, Janice conducts pulmonary function tests and educates patients on breathing strategies and medication management. Prior roles include positions at Stanton Territorial Health Authority and St. Mary's General Hospital, where Janice coached patients in respiratory care. In addition to clinical work, Janice has served as an instructor at the University of Waterloo, teaching a distance education computer science course, and at Conestoga College, where Janice facilitated lab sessions for health sciences programs. Janice holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from the University of Waterloo, an Advanced Diploma in Respiratory Care Therapy from Conestoga College, and a Yoga Teacher Training certificate from Yandara Yoga Institute.
