Alex Foran

Alex Foran has worked for several companies in a variety of roles over the past 13 years. In 2008, they worked as a Primary Developer for Webco, where they were responsible for implementing and maintaining websites with PHP, JavaScript, CSS, and MySQL. In 2010, they joined FIS Global as a Software Analyst II, where they maintained a large legacy Java codebase and oversaw several interns. In 2013, they rejoined FIS Global in the same role. In 2014, they joined Datica as a Principal Engineer, where they evaluated product options, proved out concepts, and ensured solutions solved the problems they were meant to. Alex then became the Director of Product Architecture, where they bridged the gap between "What do we want to build?" and "Let's build this thing". Alex also worked as a Senior Software Engineer, where they worked on Kubernetes, Docker, Python, Go, JS, and documentation. In 2019, they joined Saturn Cloud as a Principal Software Engineer, VP of Engineering, and Software Engineer. Finally, in 2022, they joined Grow Therapy as a Senior Software Engineer.

Alex Foran attended Nicolet High School before obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering from the Milwaukee School of Engineering in 2011. In 2019, they obtained a Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) certification from the Cloud Native Computing Foundation.
