Gene Tabach

Gene Tabach is an experienced data science leader currently serving as the VP of Data at Grow Therapy, overseeing teams in Data Science, Analytics, Engineering, and Machine Learning since September 2025. Prior to this role, Gene spent over three years as Senior Director of Data Science for Growth, Marketing, and Ads at Instacart, leading a large team that significantly enhanced company growth and developed a leading advertising incrementality engine. Gene's career also includes a tenure at Facebook as Head of Ecosystem Data Science, where strategic analytics were applied to influence high-level company decisions, and positions at Google where marketing optimization was achieved across various platforms. Earlier experience at Capital One involved enhancing credit line decision models, boosting revenue through data-driven insights. Gene holds a Master’s in Engineering Management from Duke University and a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering from The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art.
