Gaurang Gaurav (GG)

GG has a diverse work experience in design, product development, merchandising, and sourcing. Gaurang is currently the Head of Design, Product Development, Merchandising and Sourcing at Grown Up Group since September 2021. Prior to that, they founded GXVISIONS private limited in May 2021. Gaurang also founded and worked as a designer at The Orange Cap Design Consultancy, specializing in product design, development, and sourcing, from November 2020 to September 2021.

Before their entrepreneurial ventures, GG worked at VIP Industries Limited as a Senior Manager in Design Development and Sourcing from July 2018 to November 2020. Gaurang also held the positions of Design and Development Manager, Design Manager, and Assistant Manager Design at VIP Industries Limited, focusing on luggage and backpacks design and development.

GG started their career as a Designer at Titan Industries in August 2009 and later worked at Centre Of Excellence in Design limited as a Designer specializing in accessory design. Gaurang also worked as a Designer at Kavset Exports and Elvy Lifestyle Pvt Ltd, where they designed various products including leather accessories, bar accessories, and furniture.

Overall, GG has extensive experience in the design industry, with a strong focus on product development, merchandising, and sourcing in the soft goods sector.

Gaurang Gaurav (GG) began their educational journey in 1988 at Mount Assisi School, where they pursued Higher Secondary studies focused on Mathematics and Computer Science. After completing their school education, GG joined the National Institute of Fashion Technology in India in 2003, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Design with a specialization in Fashion & Lifestyle Accessories Design and Product Design in 2007.

In 2019, GG further enhanced their academic qualifications by enrolling at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University School of Design (PolyU Design) to pursue a Master's degree in Design Strategies. Gaurang'sstudies at PolyU Design lasted until 2021.

Apart from their formal education, GG has also attained various certifications to augment their knowledge and skills. These additional certifications include completing a certificate course on Climate Change: The Science and Global Impact through edX in 2020. In 2021, GG obtained certifications in Sustainability Strategies and Learning Design for Sustainability, both from LinkedIn. In 2022, GG acquired certifications in Lean Six Sigma Foundations and Six Sigma Green Belt, also from LinkedIn.
