Daneille Foster-Russell

Daneille Foster-Russell is an experienced professional in environmental education and waste management, currently serving as the Director of Education at GrowNYC since February 2016. In this role, Daneille focuses on implementing recycling and waste reduction programming in NYC public schools, collaborating with the Department of Education and Department of Sanitation to enhance landfill diversion and recycling rates. Prior experience includes outreach efforts for the NYC Organics Collection Program with the Department of Sanitation, and various roles at Thomson Reuters, where responsibilities spanned copyediting supervision and project management. Daneille holds a master's degree in Environmental Policy & Sustainability Management from The New School and a bachelor's degree in Journalism from The City University of New York.
