Isabel Smith Niño has a diverse work experience in the field of data science and analytics. In 2011, they worked as a Data Analyst at Banco Mercantil. From 2014 to 2018, they pursued their PhD in Operations Management at London Business School, where they conducted quantitative research using applied statistics and econometrics with big data. During this time, they also served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant. In 2016, they worked as a Data Science Consultant at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust, where they developed statistical models and a simulation model to improve performance and resource allocation within the emergency department. In 2018, they briefly worked as a Data Science Fellow at Science to Data Science. Their most recent role was as a Data Scientist at AstraZeneca from December 2018 to May 2019.
