Michael Knowlton has a long and varied work experience. Michael started their career in 2013 as the Director of Media and Data for The Ross Companies. In 2014, they joined ShootProof, where they have held various roles, including Senior Digital Marketing Manager, Product Manager, and Senior Product Marketing Manager. In 2021, they moved to Foreground as a Software Engineer, and in 2022 they joined GrowthBook (YC W22) as a Software Engineer. Throughout their career, Michael has led growth scrum teams, conducted in-app A/B test experiments, managed paid search and paid social campaigns, and interacted with clients to provide information and resolve problems. Michael has also researched, placed, and reconciled traditional media for automotive clients, and accessed and queried data for direct marketing executions.
Michael Knowlton holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Kennesaw State University, where they studied Marketing from 2008 to 2012. Michael also holds a Certificate in Fullstack Web Development from Georgia Institute of Technology, which they obtained in 2021.
