Yisrael Aminov

Yisrael Aminov has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Yisrael is currently serving as the SVP R&D at GrowthSpace since January 2023, previously holding the position of VP R&D from April 2022. Before joining GrowthSpace, Yisrael was the VP R&D at Elsight from April 2021 to April 2022.

Their earlier work includes leadership positions at Simplee, where they served as VP Engineering, Healthcare from February to November 2020, and as VP R&D from June 2017 to February 2020. At Simplee, Yisrael led a team of 45 engineers and was responsible for high-scale web applications and background processes on the AWS cloud.

Prior to Simplee, Yisrael worked at Fiverr from March 2015 to April 2017 as an R&D Director, playing a key role in the company's growth from around 60 to 300 employees. Before that, they served as a Senior Team Leader at Fiverr, leading several feature teams in a growing web company.

Yisrael's earlier experience includes roles at HP Software, where they worked as a Team Leader for the Agile Manager and ALM products, and as a Senior Developer for BSM. Yisrael also had experience working as a Team Leader and Software Developer at IAF.

Yisrael began their career as a Computer Science Teacher at JCT High School.

Yisrael Aminov began their education in 1997 at Jerusalem College of Technology, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Software Engineering. At the same time, they also obtained an Education Certificate in Science with a focus on Computer Science from the same institution, completing both degrees in 2000. Yisrael then went on to attend Bar Ilan University from 2003 to 2006, where they pursued a Master's degree in Learning to MA in History and Philosophy of Science with a specialization in STS (Science, Technology and Society).
