Joshua Wimmer

Joshua Wimmer's work experience begins in 2004 at Walmart, where they served as an Assistant Store Manager responsible for overseeing up to 150 employees. Joshua maintained store operations and handled responsibilities in the absence of the Store Manager. In 2006, they transitioned to Milaca High School as a High School Social Studies Teacher, teaching students in grades 9-12 and focusing on Economics and Geography. Joshua created and implemented daily lesson plans during their time there. From 2008 to 2010, Joshua worked at Wright Technical Center as a High School Social Studies Teacher, managing at-risk students and teaching various subjects such as OJT, Government, Economics, and Law. Joshua also trained students in job seeking and interview skills. Continuing their career in education, Joshua became a Purchasing and Formulation Assistant at Tuffy's Pet Foods Inc in 2010. Joshua projected ingredient usage, maintained inventory levels, and negotiated pricing with suppliers and transportation companies. In 2018, Joshua joined BTD Manufacturing as a Process Coordinator, responsible for coordinating and maintaining accuracy of production Bill of Materials (BOM) and routings. Joshua also responded to changes in forecasts and lead times to maintain proper inventories. In 2019, they took on the role of Learning and Development Leader at BTD Manufacturing, where they created and implemented training materials for all employees and oversaw new hire on-boarding and skill development. Joshua also monitored employee skill sets and determined when recertification was needed. Joshua then worked at Brunswick Boat Group in 2021 as a Training Specialist. Joshua was responsible for determining development needs for employees and conducting engagement meetings to improve their on-boarding and OJT program. Joshua also played a key role in leading on-boarding for new hires. Currently, since 2021, Joshua is an Onboarding Project Manager at GrowthZone AMS.

Joshua Wimmer attended St. Cloud State University from 1998 to 2003, where they earned their Bachelor's Degree. Joshua'smajor was in Social Studies Teacher Education.
