Marcus Whately

Marcus Whately serves as the CEO of GrowUp Group and GrowUp Farms since July 2018, overseeing the production of innovative salad products. Previously, Marcus co-founded Estover Energy Ltd, serving as Co-CEO for a decade, where the company facilitated the decarbonization of food and pharmaceutical factories and raised £375 million in institutional infrastructure capital. Marcus has held significant roles in various renewable energy projects, including the development and financing of multiple bioenergy combined heat and power plants. Marcus's early career included leadership in a software and IT consultancy and an education in Biological Sciences from the University of Oxford.
