Bawantha Rajapaksha

Bawantha Rajapaksha has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and development. In 2019, they worked as a Freelance Developer for Riora Innovations. Bawantha also served as a Campus Ambassador for IEEE Computer Society from July 2019 to November 2020. In the same year, they worked as a Software Engineering Trainee for Mitra Innovation. In 2021, Bawantha joined Preventa Medical Corporation as a Software Developer and worked until February 2022. Bawantha then joined CodeGen International as a Software Engineer in March 2021 and later took on the role of Senior Software Engineer starting in January 2023. In 2022, they joined Kvickk AB as a Mobile Application Developer. Currently, Bawantha holds the position of Senior Software Engineer at Grubtech, starting in July 2023.

Bawantha Rajapaksha has a diverse education history. From 2006 to 2015, they attended Ananda College Colombo, where they obtained a degree in Mathematics for their GCE A/L (General Certificate of Education Advanced Level) studies. In 2016, they enrolled at ESOFT Metro Campus and obtained a High School Diploma in Information Technology.

From 2016 to 2021, Bawantha pursued their higher education at the University of Moratuwa. During this period, they acquired a BSc degree in Computer Science and Engineering.

In addition to their formal education, Bawantha Rajapaksha also holds the certification of AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate. Bawantha obtained this certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in December 2022.
