Gustavo de Arriba

Gustavo de Arriba's work experience includes various roles and positions spanning multiple industries. Gustavo started their career as an intern at Nissan Motor Manufacturing and BMW Group. Gustavo then served in the Spanish Air Force before joining Ence - Energía y Celulosa as a Mechanical Maintenance Service Manager and later as a Plant Shift Manager. Following that, they started their own business and served as the Owner and General Manager.

In 2000, Gustavo joined Johnson Controls and held several positions, including Director of Quality in Europe, Middle East, and Africa, Director of Global Quality, and Director of North America Operations Quality. Gustavo also served as a Board Member at Niis Ny integration i samfundet.

In 2018, they started working at GRUNDFOS as the Group Vice President and Head of Quality, leading the Business Transformation and Lean Enterprise initiatives. Gustavo later transitioned to the role of Group Vice President and Head of the Grundfos Business System.

Gustavo is also an Angel Investor at COREangels Lisbon.

Gustavo de Arriba completed their Engineer's Degree in Industrial Engineering from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid from 1988 to 1995. Gustavo then pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Business Administration and Management, General from the Instituto de Directivos de Empresa (IDE-CESEM) from 2006 to 2007. In 2010 to 2011, Gustavo obtained a JCLE (Johnson Controls Leadership Edge) degree in Organizational Leadership from Johnson Controls. Prior to college, they attended Colegio Los Olmos for their high school education from 1976 to 1988. Gustavo has also earned additional certifications including EFQM Organisational Change Leader Certified from EFQM in October 2022 and Certified Manager of Quality and Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE) from ASQ - World Headquarters in December 2018. In 2022, they obtained the Inclusive Leadership certification from LinkedIn.
