Jonas Åkeson

Jonas Åkeson has a strong background in technology and strategic sourcing. Jonas is currently the Group Vice President of Digital Development at GRUNDFOS, starting in September 2023. Prior to this, they held various leadership positions at Ericsson, including Head of AI Technology and Innovation, Head of Artificial Intelligence and Automation, Head of Service Delivery Applications & Platforms, and Head of ICT Strategic Sourcing. Jonas also had roles at Ericsson AB, where they served as Head of Software - Director Strategic Sourcing, Director Strategic Sourcing, Head of Operational Development, BU Trade Compliance Advisor, and Strategic buyer HW & SW. Jonas began their career at SonyEricsson and Flextronics Network Services as well. Overall, Jonas Åkeson brings a wealth of experience in technology, sourcing, and leadership to their role.

Jonas Åkeson received their M.Sc. in Engineering degree, specializing in Communication and Transport Systems, from Linköping University, where they studied from 1998 to 2004. Jonas also pursued a University degree in Business and Administration at Stockholm University. Additionally, they completed a program in Combat Leader training, specifically in sub-arctic warfare, at the Swedish Armed Forces in 1998-1999.
