Martin Bang Kristensen

Martin Bang Kristensen is a senior R&D director and head of technology development at GRUNDFOS since September 2014, with previous roles including head of structural & fluid mechanics and senior development engineer, focusing on technology development and project management within Grundfos Technology & Innovation. Prior to this, Martin served as a development engineer in the mechanics & materials department and participated in the global engineering graduate program, which included rotations across various departments. Martin's early career includes an engineering trainee position involving dynamic analyses of wastewater pumps at GRUNDFOS and a factory worker role at Brandt A/S, along with military service at Ryes Kaserne, where an emphasis on teamwork was reinforced. Academic qualifications encompass a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering and Design of Mechanical Systems from Aalborg University, along with a certificate in Additive Manufacturing from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
