João Xavier Rita

João Xavier Rita has a diverse work experience ranging from internships at BES and ZON to roles at major companies such as Portugal Telecom, Altice Portugal, and Grünenthal Group. Their experience includes positions such as IT Operations Manager, Assistant Professor, and currently holds the title of Associate Director of Global IT Infrastructure at Grünenthal Group. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated expertise in areas such as IT infrastructure, cloud engineering, and project management.

João Xavier Rita completed a Bachelor's degree in Management at Instituto Superior de Gestão in 2004-2007. João then pursued a Master's degree in Management and Industrial Engineering at ISCTE - Instituto Universitário de Lisboa from 2007-2009. Later, they obtained an Erasmus degree from Poznan University of Economics And Business in 2008-2009. João completed their Ph.D. in Management from ISCTE - Instituto Universitário de Lisboa in 2012-2016. In 2019, they attended Executive Education in Digital Transformation at Nova School of Business and Economics. João also earned certification as a Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals from Microsoft in 2023.
