Mariel Jiménez

Mariel Jiménez is an experienced professional in sustainability, corporate communications, and social responsibility. Currently serving as the Director of Sustainability & Human Resources and previously as the Director of Sustainability & Corporate Communications at Grupo AlEn, Mariel has a strong background in leading sustainability initiatives. Prior roles include Communications and Social Responsibility Manager and CSR and Sustainable Development Manager for Mexico and Central America at Praxair, as well as a position focused on social responsibility and community development at CEMEX. Mariel began their career with an internship at UK Trade & Investment (UKTI). Mariel holds a Master of Business Administration from UNC Charlotte Belk College of Business and completed additional studies at Harvard Business School in 2019.
