Jose Antonio Iturriaga Travezan

Jose Antonio Iturriaga Travezan is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in leadership roles across various financial institutions. Currently serving as Group CEO at Grupo Efe since November 2019, Iturriaga Travezan previously held positions as CEO at Financiera Efectiva S.A from February 2017 to November 2020 and as Vice President of Distribution, Sales & Customer Experience at Scotiabank for 14 years, where additional roles included CEO of Financiera Credito Familiar and board member. Iturriaga Travezan's career also features leadership roles in the Small Business International Division at Scotiabank in Toronto and as Vice President and General Manager at Banco de Antigua in Guatemala. An MBA graduate from Universidad de Piura and a law degree from Universidad de Lima, Iturriaga Travezan pursued executive education at Kellogg School of Management and is currently enrolled at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
