Thales R. has extensive experience in clinical engineering, currently serving as the Clinical Engineering Manager at Grupo Fleury since January 2010, overseeing the management of laboratory equipment for clinical analysis, in-vitro fertilization, and pathology. Prior to this role, Thales was the Clinical Engineering Coordinator, leading field and project teams for clinical analysis across Brazil, and began with a focus on establishing a clinical engineering program in the Rio de Janeiro area. Thales’ earlier experience includes working as a Clinical Engineer at Hospital Dr. Balbino, managing the clinical engineering department and surgical contingency designs, and as a Clinical Engineering Intern at Hospital Albert Einstein, where responsibilities included preventive and corrective maintenance across various medical departments. Thales holds a degree in Electrical/Clinical Engineering from Universidade Federal de Itajubá and a post-graduation in Administration and Management from BSP - Business School São Paulo.
