Fernando Zavala

Fernando Zavala is the current CEO at Grupo Inter and a former Prime Minister of Peru. Fernando has also served as the Presidente Ejecutivo of both Backus and SABMiller. Zavala began their career in 1995 as the Gerente General of Indecopi Oficial before moving on to the Ministerio de Economía y Finanzas del Perú in 2002 as Vice Ministro de Economía. In 2005, they were promoted to Ministro de Economía y Finanzas and served in that role until 2006. From 2009 to 2013, Fernando Zavala served as Presidente Ejecutivo of Cervecería Nacional S.A. in Panama before taking on the same role at Backus from 2013 to 2016. Fernando was appointed as Peru's Prime Minister in 2016 and served in that role until 2017.

Fernando Zavala has an International MBA from The University of Birmingham and a Maestría en Dirección de Empresas from Universidad de Piura. Fernando also has a degree from Universidad del Pacífico (PE).
