Edilson Alves

Edilson Alves has extensive work experience in procurement and strategic buying. Edilson started their career at Motorola as a Senior Buyer, where they managed indirect marketing purchases and implemented cost reduction strategies. Edilson then joined LG Electronics as a Senior Strategic Buyer, where they continued to optimize procurement processes. Edilson later joined Nestlé as a Strategic Buyer Lead, overseeing strategic buying initiatives. Currently, they are working at Grupo Petrópolis as a Procurement Category Lead, handling a wide range of purchases including IT, HR, Facilities, and Marketing. Edilson has achieved significant cost savings through sourcing strategies and implemented an RPA robotic system. Edilson has also developed projects to streamline purchasing processes and strengthen relationships with suppliers at Grupo Petrópolis.

Edilson Alves completed their Executive MBA in Gestão de Pessoas com ênfase em Liderança Organizacional from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul in 2022. Edilson also pursued an Especialização Técnica em Compras e Negociações Estratégicas from ESPM Escola Superior de Propaganda e Marketing in 2011. Prior to that, they obtained a degree in Faculdade de Administração de Empresas com ênfase Marketing e Finanças from Faculdade São Luis between 2000 and 2003.
