José Carlos Tirado

José Carlos Tirado has an extensive work experience spanning various industries and positions. José Carlos is currently employed as the CIO at Grupo Presidente since 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Information Technology at Grupo Acritus from 2020 to 2022.

Before that, José worked at ASICS Corporation from 2013 to 2019 as the Operations & IT Director. During their time at ASICS, they were responsible for starting up ASICS Mexico offices, leading SAP implementation, and designing and implementing infrastructure and telecom systems.

From 2010 to 2013, José worked at Amway, first as the Latin America Regional eBusiness Manager, focusing on web, digital strategy, and mobile platforms. Later, they worked as the LA IT Manager for Sales, INA & Customer Service, leading IT projects across the Latin America region.

Prior to their time at Amway, José was an IT Manager at New Balance from 2008 to 2010, where they focused on infrastructure and ensuring IT service level agreements. Before that, they worked at DHL Mexico as the IT Manager for Customer Service & Retail from 2006 to 2008, where they implemented IT strategies to enhance customer service and retail business.

José started their career at 3M Mexico as an eBusiness Leader from 2001 to 2006. Overall, José Carlos Tirado has showcased their expertise in IT management, operations, and strategic planning throughout their career.

José Carlos Tirado has a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology from the Tecnológico de Monterrey, which they obtained from 1995 to 2000. Additionally, they have completed two digital training courses at Needed.Education in 2020 and 2021, specializing in Capacitación Digital. José has also acquired several certifications, including ITIL Foundations v3.0 from EXIN in 2011 and PRINCE2 Practitioner Certificated from APMG - International in 2006. José Carlos has also completed various professional development courses in coaching, team management, project management, and problem-solving.
