Jorge Varela Dorbecker

Jorge Varela Dorbecker is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in business leadership and development. Currently serving as President of Grupo Scanda since February 1995, Jorge has previously held significant roles including Director of Business Development at System House Canada and Managing Director at Comper. Jorge's career began in the technical support sector at Operadora de Bolsa SA de CV, after which a position as Coordinador de Lic en Informática at Universidad Anáhuac was undertaken. Education includes an MBA in Technology from Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México, as well as various associate degrees in contemporary history and world religions. Jorge holds an engineering degree in Cybernetics from Universidad La Salle and has a foundational education from Colegio Williams.
