Liliana Martinez

Liliana Martinez has a strong background in legal roles and has worked in various companies. Liliana started their career as a Lawyer at Deloitte, where they focused on tax and Constitutional litigation. Liliana then moved to British American Tobacco as a Legal Manager, where they handled contract drafting and negotiation, as well as analysis of regulations affecting the tobacco industry. After that, they worked at Televisa as a Legal Coordinator, where they were responsible for contract drafting and negotiation, as well as participating in key projects such as bond offerings and M&A transactions. Liliana then joined Rheem Manufacturing as a Legal Counsel, overseeing legal matters and litigation cases for multiple manufacturing units. Lastly, they returned to Televisa as the Legal Director of Corporate and Finance, leading a team and being in charge of transactional legal issues and compliance with regulatory bodies.

Liliana Martinez holds a LL.M. degree in U.S. Law for Foreign Lawyers from The University of Texas at Austin, which they obtained from 2011 to 2012. Liliana also completed a graduate degree in Tax Law from Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León from 2005 to 2006. Prior to that, they earned their Law Degree from Tecnológico de Monterrey from 2000 to 2004.
