Ian Haberfield

Ian Haberfield has a robust background in strategic communication and public affairs, demonstrated through various leadership roles since 1991. Currently, Ian serves as the Manager of Strategic Communication and previously held the position of Public Affairs Adviser at Greyhound Racing Victoria since September 2016. Prior experience includes External Relations Manager at Lion, Media Relations Manager at the Department of Health and Human Services, and Manager of Public Affairs at the Department of Premier and Cabinet (Vic). Ian's extensive career also features roles at the Department of Health Victoria as a Media Adviser, and significant journalistic experience as a Political Reporter for the Sunday Herald Sun and a Crime Reporter for the Sunday Mail, along with a foundational role as a Journalist at the Geelong Advertiser.
