Nigham Shahid

Nigham Shahid is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in insights management and social impact. Currently serving as a Senior Insights Manager at GSMA since October 2020, Nigham previously held roles such as Insights Manager at GSMA and Social Impact Adviser at NOW.Ventures, where expertise was applied in impact assessments for mission-driven startups. Nigham's earlier experience includes a Development Manager position at CARE Pakistan, achieving a twofold increase in donor contributions for education initiatives, and a Content & Social Media Manager role at Malala Fund, where campaigns for girls' education were launched across various social media platforms. Additionally, Nigham worked as a Business Development Executive/Project Assistant at empowerment thru creative integration, focusing on donor relations and training curriculum development. Nigham holds a Master's degree in Quantitative Methods in the Social Sciences from Columbia University, a Master's degree in Sociology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, and a Bachelor's degree in Applied Science in Social Sciences from Lahore University of Management Sciences.
