Radu Ciocirlan

Radu Ciocirlan has extensive experience in facilities and project management. Radu is currently the Global Head of Facilities at GSMA since August 2018. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Facilities Project Manager (Contract) at Arup starting from May 2018. From September 2017 to April 2018, Radu was the EMEA Corporate Service & Project Manager (Contract) at Genesys. Radu also served as the Facilities & Maintenance Manager at Gate Gourmet from September 2015 to July 2017, where they were responsible for maintenance and site projects. In addition, they worked as the Senior Facilities & Project Manager (Contract) at KidZania London from May 2015 to August 2015, managing set up and fit-out operations. Before that, they were the Senior Facilities Manager at Fluor Ltd from January 2012 to March 2015, overseeing hard and soft services. Radu's career also includes roles as a Facilities Manager at BNP Paribas Real Estate and a Police Lieutenant at the Romanian Police.

Radu Ciocirlan has a Bachelor's degree in Law from the University of Bucharest, Romania, which they obtained from 1986 to 2000. In 2006-2007, they completed a Professional Certificate in Business Management from the Open University Business School. Additionally, in the same year, they also obtained a National Certificate in Health and Safety from Reed Learning. In 2008-2009, they pursued an IEMA Associate Certificate in Environmental Management. In 2012, Radu obtained an AutoCad 2D Space Planning degree from Insight and an Accident Investigation certificate from New Grange Training. Radu holds a PRINCE 2 degree in Project Management from Reed Learning, obtained in 2016. Currently, they are enrolled in the IWFM Membership program, focusing on Facilities Planning and Management. Furthermore, Radu has additional certifications in Blockchain Basics from LinkedIn (obtained year not specified) and Lean Six Sigma Foundations from LinkedIn (obtained in 2018).
