Aurel Damache

Aurel Damache is a seasoned professional in naval engineering and construction, currently serving as Chief Engineer at GSP Offshore since January 2009, where responsibilities include coordinating and administrating naval constructions and repairs at the GSP Agigea Shipyard. Prior roles include Shipyard Manager at Albwardy Marine Engineering LLC and Structural Superintendent at QGM Group LLC, with significant experience in overseeing large-scale repair and upgrade projects such as the GSP Saturn Drilling Rig. Aurel has also held various engineering positions at Petroserv S.A. and Petroconst SA, focusing on mechanical maintenance and construction projects for drilling rigs and offshore installations. Aurel holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Welding Technologies from Ovidius University, Constanta, Romania.
