David Cass

David Cass is a highly accomplished cybersecurity leader with extensive experience across various sectors. Currently serving as Managing Director and Chief Information Security Officer at GSR, David is also the President of CISOs Connect and Security Current, where engagement with a distinguished community of cybersecurity professionals is prioritized. As a Senior Partner at Law and Forensics, David leads the Cryptocurrency and Digital Banking Practice while contributing to the Cyber Security and Forensics Practice. David's academic involvement includes being an Adjunct Faculty member at Harvard Extension School and previously at Drexel University, focusing on IT Risk Management and Cybersecurity. Past roles include Vice President at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, Chief Information Security Officer at IBM and Elsevier, and Senior Director at Freddie Mac, along with several leadership positions that underline a deep expertise in risk management, compliance, and cybersecurity strategy.
