Chris Choby has a diverse and extensive work experience. Chris is currently working at Groundswell as the Director, Defense and Intelligence, Strategy and Growth Leader, where they focus on developing and implementing strategic growth plans for new client programs. Before joining Groundswell, Chris worked at Guidehouse as a Client Relationship Executive for the Navy/USMC. Prior to that, they served as the Digital General Manager at DXC Technology, specializing in Aerospace, Defense, and Manufacturing. Chris has also held roles at IBM Global Business Service, US Federal as the Navy/USMC Account Leader and Navy Account Manager at IBM Global Business Services. In addition, they have worked at Acentia (formerly ITSolutions) in Business Development and as a Business Development Manager at IBM Global Business Services. Earlier in their career, Chris worked at PriceWaterhouseCoopers as a Program Manager and Senior Consultant, and at Coopers & Lybrand Consulting as a Consultant. Throughout their career, Chris has focused on defense, federal, and civilian projects, demonstrating their expertise and leadership in these areas.
Chris Choby earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from The Catholic University of America, where they studied from 1990 to 1994. Chris later pursued an MBA in Entrepreneurship from the University of Maryland, completing the program from 2000 to 2002.
