Milkah Wamae

Milkah Wamae is an accomplished human resources professional with extensive experience across various industries. Currently serving as the Head of Human Resources at GTBank Kenya since December 2022, Milkah previously held the position of Human Resources Manager at Kapa Oil Refineries Limited from March 2019 to November 2022, where responsibilities included developing and implementing HR strategy in areas such as recruitment, corporate culture transformation, and employee engagement. Notable achievements include managing 21 external business partners at Kapa Oil and leading a corporate culture management assignment for a public energy company during tenure at PwC Kenya from December 2014 to March 2019. Milkah's career began as an Administrative Assistant at Realken International and progressed through various roles at the Co-operative Bank of Kenya. Milkah holds a Higher Diploma in Human Resource Management from the Institute of Human Resources Management in Kenya and a Bachelor's degree in Education from Kenyatta University.
