Halim Kastrat started their work experience in 2010 as an External Reporting Assistant Manager at Akbank. In this role, they were responsible for preparing financial reports and coordinating the control process required for financial reporting and data quality. Halim also acted as the single point of contact for all regulatory reporting matters. Additionally, they ensured best-in-class governance standards of the underlying reporting process.

In 2014, Halim joined HSBC Turkey as an Internal Control Unit Financial Reporting Control Specialist. Here, they focused on financial reporting control and was responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

In 2016, Halim moved to NETAş as a Senior Software Test Engineer. Halim worked in this role until 2017, where they were responsible for testing software and ensuring its quality.

Currently, Halim is working at GTech as a Financial Solutions Principal Consultant. Halim has been in this position since 2018, where they provide consulting services in financial solutions.

Halim Kastrat completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Capital Markets from Marmara University, where they studied from 2003 to 2008. In addition to their degree, they also obtained several certifications related to their field. These include the Anti Money Laundering and Sanction Compliance certification from the International Compliance Association, the Capital Market Activities Advanced Level Licence from the Sermaye Piyasası Lisanslama Sicil ve Eğitim Kuruluşu, and the Derivative Instruments License, also from the Sermaye Piyasası Lisanslama Sicil ve Eğitim Kuruluşu. The dates of when they obtained these certifications are not provided.
