Kara Maierhofer

Kara Maierhofer has a diverse range of work experience in the healthcare industry. Kara joined Guadalupe Regional Medical Center in November 2021 as the Director of Quality and Process Engineering GRMG and is currently in this role. Prior to that, Kara worked as a Clinical Quality Data Analyst at the same organization starting from January 2010. Before joining Guadalupe Regional Medical Center, they served as a Sr. Applications Analyst at CHRISTUS Health from February 2008 to January 2010. During their time at CHRISTUS Health, they were responsible for supporting and maintaining regional applications and managing contract information and licensing. Kara also worked as a Systems Analyst at McKenna Memorial Hospital from 2000 to 2008 and as a Lead Business Analyst at Eclipsys Corporation from 2005 to 2007.

Kara Maierhofer obtained their Bachelor's degree in Computer and Information Sciences and Support Services from Texas State University, graduating in 1999. Kara went on to pursue a Master's degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management at the same university, completing their studies in 2008.
