Steve Carlin

Steve Carlin is a seasoned mortgage lending professional currently serving as Vice President of Mortgage Lending at Guaranteed Rate, Inc. since August 2023. With extensive experience, Steve held the position of Branch Manager at Fairway Independent Mortgage Company from August 2017 to July 2023, leading a team that contributed to significant funding growth. Prior to that, Steve managed branches at Gold Star Mortgage Financial Group and C2 Financial Corporation, where expertise in various mortgage products, including FHA, VA, and jumbo loans, was developed. Steve's career in mortgage lending began at Civic Mortgage Company as President and includes a solid foundation in lending as a Senior Loan Officer at CMG Mortgage and as Branch Manager at Diversified Capital Funding. Academically, Steve earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Bacteriology and Chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley.
