Danny Muskrat

Danny Muskrat is the Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Guaranty Bank & Trust. Danny has been with the company since April 2007 and has held their current position since September 2020.

Muskrat oversees the corporate Technology Center, which includes Information Technology and Digital Banking, as well as the corporate Operations Center, which includes Data Processing, Deposit Operations, and Purchasing. Danny advises executive management on the best approach to grow the organization with the successful implementation and adoption of technology. Danny also develops fluid strategic plans and directs the initiatives and projects of the departments they oversee.

Muskrat has shared executive responsibility for a $60MM budget and has singular oversight of all critical operations/technology vendors and contracts. Danny is also the Chairman of the Technology and Core Committees and a member of all bank operational committees. Danny supervises multiple senior-level officers and is responsible for all IT security and system integrity, an in-house virtual infrastructure with cloud migration considerations, and a growing branch/facility footprint across numerous geographic regions. Additionally, they oversee core system operations, debit card & ATM processing, telecommunications infrastructure, and deposit operations.

Danny Muskrat has a MBA and a BBA in Management Information Systems from Baylor University.
