Colton Black

Colton Black is an accomplished General Manager currently at Guard and Grace since November 2023. With a diverse career in the hospitality industry, Black previously served as the Element 47 General Manager and Bar Operations Manager at The Little Nell from May 2021 to April 2024. As the Business Owner of BlackWater Hospitality LLC from June 2018 to July 2022, Black focused on Southern Bayou-inspired catering and restaurant experiences. Between February 2017 and December 2019, Black co-owned Kayne Prime, contributing as the Head of Training and Development. Black's journey began at BrickTop's Restaurant, where from October 2013 to February 2017, Black rose to serve as a top earner and increased customer loyalty. Additionally, a management trainee internship at BrickTop's Mcewen allowed Black valuable kitchen experience. As the founder of wakeupnow, Black focused on educating new employees in essential skills. Colton Black holds a Master of Business Administration in Management from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, earned between 2014 and 2018.
