Heidi Mendoza

Heidi Mendoza, MB (ASCP), currently serves as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist I in Reporting at Guardant Health since October 2023. Previously, from September 2020 to October 2023, Heidi held positions as a CGMBS Trainee, Clinical Laboratory Technician, and Sample Accessioner at Invitae, where experience included DNA extractions, PCR techniques, MLPAseq, RNAseq, NGS, NIPT screening, Sanger sequencing, and compliance with CLIA and CAP standards. Earlier experience includes working as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at UCLA MIMG Sciences Department, focusing on bacterial translation and suppressor mutants. Heidi holds a Postgraduate Degree from California State University, Los Angeles, and a Bachelor of Science in Physiological Psychology/Psychobiology from UCLA.
