Rachel Gittelman

Rachel Gittelman is an accomplished bioinformatics professional with extensive experience in computational biology and a strong background in genomics. Currently serving as Associate Director of Bioinformatics at Guardant Health since June 2022, Rachel previously held senior managerial positions at Adaptive Biotechnologies Corp., where initiatives included the Antigen Map project in collaboration with Microsoft. Prior experience includes significant roles in the Department of Genome Sciences at the University of Washington, where Rachel earned a Ph.D. in Genome Sciences while studying human evolution and adapting introgression, along with serving as a teaching assistant. Rachel holds a Bachelor's degree in the Biological Basis of Behavior from the University of Pennsylvania.
