Hema Ramdass-Chatoor has over 25 years of experience in finance and leadership roles. Currently, they serve as the Vice President of Financial Planning, Reporting, and Analysis at Guardian Group. Prior to this, they were the Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer at ANSA Bank. Hema held the position of Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary at Guardian Media Limited, where they participated in key decisions and contributed to the strategic initiatives of the group. Hema Ramdass-Chatoor has a diverse education history. Hema earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University, England, in the year 2001. Prior to that, they completed the Association of Chartered Certified Account (ACCA) program at the Omardeen School of Accounting from 1997 to 2000. Hema also attended St. Joseph's Convent, San Fernando, from 1993 to 1995 for Advanced Level studies.

In 2007, they completed the Corporate Governance Series on the Role of the Secretary, and attended Euromoney Training's course on Private Equity and Venture Capital.

Furthermore, Hema has also acquired specialized knowledge and expertise through various certifications. Hema obtained the Prosci Change Management Certification Program from Prosci in October 2015. Additionally, they completed the Basel 111 Compliance, Global Framework on Capital Adequacy, Stress Testing & Market Liquidity Risk program from Fleming Gulf in July 2015.
