Dan Pearce is an experienced technology leader specializing in platform engineering and architecture, currently serving as Head of Platform Engineering at Guardian Life since April 2017. With a strong focus on operations and automation, Dan has successfully led the development of multiple platforms, including the Guardian Direct "NextGen" platform, utilizing advanced DevOps principles and cloud technologies. As the CEO and Founder of 31G LLC, Dan empowers businesses to enhance their software delivery through effective DevOps strategies. Previous roles include engineering and architecture positions at MassMutual Financial Group, TSYS, and Patientco, along with significant contributions in digital signal processing early in the career. Dan holds an MBA from Babson F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business and a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Computer Systems from Swinburne University of Technology.
