Shahin Rahman

Shahin Rahman currently serves as the Head of Data Science at Guardian Life since January 2022, having previously held roles such as Principal Data Scientist. From June 2019 to December 2021, Shahin was the VP of Analytics at ElectrifAi and served in the same capacity at Opera Solutions in early 2019. Shahin possesses extensive analytics experience dating back to 2011, including roles as Director of Analytics and Analytics Manager at Opera Solutions, where major projects included developing pricing models for long-term disability insurance and response models for leading credit card issuers. Shahin's expertise encompasses advanced modeling techniques such as GBM, Random Forest, and Logistic Regression, with a focus on domains including risk, fraud, and marketing. Educationally, Shahin is a graduate of Caltech and Washington University in St. Louis.
