Aaron Smith is an experienced journalist and communications specialist with a broad background in media, writing, and communication roles spanning over two decades. Currently, Aaron works as a journalist for The Guardian, while also serving as Communications Manager for People For Wildlife and previously held the position of Senior Media & Communications Officer for the Wet Tropics Management Authority. Aaron has contributed to notable outlets including SBS, CNN, and Australian Geographic, in addition to travel writing for various magazines. With a strong foundation in arts and science, Aaron holds degrees in Zoology, Geography, Environmental Science, and Journalism, complemented by significant experience in theater, film, and playwriting.
