Cathy Black

Cathy Black has extensive experience as an executive assistant and events manager, currently serving as EA to the Editor-in-Chief at Guardian News & Media since January 2018, where responsibilities include managing complex schedules, overseeing correspondence, and coordinating international travel. Prior to this role, Cathy worked at the Mayor's Fund for London as Events Manager and PA to the Chief Executive, managing public events and supporting high-profile stakeholders, including the Mayor of London. Additionally, Cathy has held several positions within Guardian News & Media since 1996, providing high-level PA support and managing various projects, events, and communications. Previous roles include PA positions at Keycamp Holidays and GUINNESS INTERNATIONAL, where responsibilities encompassed administrative support, travel arrangements, and client relations. Education includes attendance at Nonsuch High School and Northeast Surrey College of Technology.
