Emily Thompson

Emily Thompson has extensive experience in insight and research roles, currently serving as Insight Manager at The Guardian since May 2019, after progressing from Senior Insight Analyst. Prior to this role, Emily worked at Ipsos MORI from May 2017 to May 2019 as a Senior Research Executive and previously as a Research Executive. Earlier experience includes a position as Strategy & Insight Executive at McCann Manchester from October 2015 to February 2017. Emily holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Politics from the University of Nottingham, where studies were completed between 2012 and 2015, and attended Withington Girls' School from 2005 to 2012.
