Samuel Gibbs is an accomplished journalist and editor with extensive experience in technology media. Currently serving as Consumer Technology Editor at Guardian News & Media since September 2013, Gibbs has previously held positions including Assistant Technology Editor and Technology Reporter within the same organization. Prior roles include News Editor for Gizmodo UK at Future Publishing, a writer at TUAW - AOL/Huffpost Media group, and European Editor for Pixelated Geek. With a strong academic background, including a PhD in Molecular Microbiology and a BSc in Biology from Imperial College London, Gibbs combines technical expertise with a passion for technology journalism, also contributing as a host for a technology podcast and managing various editorial teams throughout his career.
